Super Junior member Heechul is known to have trended on twitter on October 11th, after fans declared it "Kim Heechul Day" and achieved a great feat of beating out Justin Bieber for top trending. This event has captured the attention of media such as, The Huffington Post and Forbes, as well as commentaries from associate editor of Mashable.
On Thursday, October 14th, California newspaper The Sun printed an article on Heechul and his feat on Twitter, entitling it 'S. Korean singer trends on Twitter'. The article speaks about Super Junior and how they have captured the hearts of many across Asia with their "boyish looks and synchronized dance routines".
One tweet from a Philipines fan posted "Gosh - I love you!! King of the world."
