Yesterday, we reported that Super Junior’s Kyuhyun shared the details about his car accident from three years ago on Strong Heart. Now, the episode has aired and the full story about his horrific experience has been revealed.
Kyuhyun said on the episode that aired on the 13th,

“I got in a car accident after coming back from work in Yeoido. The car turned around and I was laid on the road. I was unconscious for four days. My ribs poked my lungs and the doctor told me I had a 20% chance of surviving.”
He continued,
“The surgery had to go through my neck but my father told the doctor that I was a singer and asked him to perform the surgery in another way. So the doctor performed the surgery through the sides of the body.”
He also added,
“My father was originally against me becoming a singer and to think that he protected my dreams and career while I was unconscious made me cry. After five months, I got on stage again and I felt like I was living a new life.”
Kyuhyun teared up while sharing the story.
